Street Vendors on Bicycles Looking Gorgeous From Above

Street Vendors on Bicycles Looking Gorgeous From Above

Street vendors in Vietnam rely on bicycles to move fresh flowers and fruit around town. And a Dutch photographer proves that sometimes a change of angle can turn a quite ordinary sight into true magic.

Loes Heerink has spent quite some time on Hanoi bridges, waiting for street vendors to pass beneath so that she can capture beautifully symmetrical photographs, bursting with life and vibrant colour.

It does take a lot of patience. "I once spent five hours in a location with no shots," Heerink explains on her Kickstarter campaign page. "They have no clue how beautiful their bicycles are, no idea they create little pieces of art every day."

If you'd like to support her dream to make more, about a 100 of these photos and publish them in a high-quality book, head to Kickstarter. Rewards include vibrant prints and, of course, the book itself.
